I am so delighted you are here, as it is my joy to share the practice of Yoga, which continues to enrich my life deeply.
Through Yoga, I have cultivated a stronger sense of coming into my body
and fully inhabiting this precious vessel.
This deeper embodiment has allowed me to rest more fully in my place
and access the silent doorway of stillness within.
It is from this place of personal experience and gratitude that I offer my classes.
My classes begin in Springtime each year. I teach two classes each week, with a Summer break and a pause at the end of Winter.
Both sessions are suitable for different levels of experience, and I always encourage you and provide alternatives to move in ways that honour your body.
You are warmly invited to join me on:
Dynamic Midweek Flow
An energising Vinyasa practice to recharge and reconnect midweek.
Weekend Wind-Down Flow
A softer, slower practice with gentle stretches to release the week and ease into the weekend.
"Carolin offers a calm environment with clear instructions and a structure which allows for all to feel safely held and yet also challenges us to grow in strength and flexibility. The deep relaxation at the end is a balm for the soul. Highly recommended."
Yvonne C.
Classes take place in the Sunshine Room at the Park Ecovillage Findhorn, where our collective of mindful movement practitioners offers a variety of Yoga styles and mindful movement practices.
As there are many different approaches to Yoga, I encourage you to explore and discover which style, pace and way of moving feels most supportive and nourishing for your body.
If my way of sharing this practice resonates with you, I would be delighted to welcome you.

With a Sound-Integrated Extended End-Relaxation (Shavasana)
Sound is an essential part of my personal practice and work, and I have found the combination of movement and sound to be profoundly complementary. This closing space offers an opportunity to integrate the practice, soften deeply, and rest.
You are welcome to join on a drop-in basis for £10 per class.
If you feel called to deepen your commitment to your practice, I also offer a Class Pass, reducing the price to £8 per class.
Sign up to your first class or deepen the commitment to your practice!
Classes begin again on Wednesday, 3rd June and will run continuously until 7th August, followed by a short summer break. They will then resume and continue through to the end of the year, starting again from September 2nd.
Please note there will be no classes on 24th and 26th June due to personal commitments.
"Carolin's yoga classes are a soft, nurturing exploration of breath, body and stillness. She holds space with a gentle presence and a touch of humour, making each class feel welcoming and grounding. Her extended shavasanas are pure magic - woven with singing bowls, other precious instruments and her beautiful voice, they become soundscapes that deeply integrate and ground the practice. Highly recommend for anyone seeking rest, release and reconnection!"

If you have any questions, please read the Q&A section below, or contact me directly if your question isn’t covered. I’m always happy to connect.
I completed my 200-hour Multi-Style Yoga Teacher Training at Vinyasa Yogashala in Rishikesh, India, and also completed their Online Yin Yoga Teacher Training. I further deepened my practice through a 100-hour Nada Yoga (Yoga of Sound) training with the Himalayan Academy of Sound Healing. And I will complete my 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Spring 2027.
In addition to my formal training, I have extensively attended Vinyasa Yoga classes, which continues to inspire and inform my teaching style.
There are many different styles of Yoga, each offering a unique approach and focus. Some of the well-known traditions include Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Scaravelli, Yin, Restorative, Kundalini, and Nada Yoga. While these styles differ in pace, structure, and intention, they all share the common aim of cultivating awareness through breath, movement, and presence. My own practice is rooted in the foundation of Hatha Yoga, which emphasises alignment, steadiness, and mindful breathing. From this base, I teach Vinyasa Yoga, a flowing and dynamic style that connects breath with movement, as well as Yin Yoga, a slower, more meditative practice that supports deep stretches and stillness. I also weave in elements of Nada Yoga, the yoga of sound, using sound and vibration to encourage relaxation, inner awareness, and nervous system balance.
In all of my classes, I offer a range of options to support different experience levels and individual bodily needs. If you are completely new to Yoga, I recommend starting with my Friday classes, which are slower paced and give you the opportunity to explore the movements gently and build awareness, confidence, and connection with your body before moving into more dynamic practices.
Booking is essential to secure your place in class and help me better prepare for class. However, if you prefer, you can also send me a message to confirm your attendance for a specific date and pay in cash at the beginning of the class.
If you need to cancel, your booking can be carried forward to a future class. Alternatively, a friend may attend in your place, as long as this is communicated to me in advance.
If you purchase a Class Pass, it reduces the cost from £10 per class to £8 per class. The Pass is for 5 classes in advance, at a total of £40, which must be used within the next 16 classes I offer, roughly two months from the date of purchase. The Pass makes booking simple: once purchased, just send me a message, ideally 24 hours before class, to confirm your spot. It lets you commit to your practice at a reduced rate with minimal hassle.
At the end of each class, I offer an extended Shavasana of 10–15 minutes to balance the more active part of the practice, as I believe that the passive, yin aspects of Yoga are just as vital as its active, yang counterpart. During this deep relaxation, I invite you to rest fully on your mat, surrendering your body to the earth, while I use chimes, singing bowls, my voice, shruti box, flute, or sometimes harp or piano to guide you into a state of deep restoration, relaxation and peace.
Yes, please do bring your own Yoga mat. If you don't have one (yet), there are always a few spares ones available in the Sunshine Room, but not enough for everybody, so please do bring your own mat. There’s no need to bring any other props, I’ll provide anything else that’s needed.
If that’s the case, please do get in touch with me to share some more details with me. From there, we will discuss things and assess whether my classes are still a good fit for you.
I always do my best to be mindful of any health limitations or sensitivities. For this reason, I ask everyone attending my classes for the first time to fill out a health questionnaire, which will be provided here at checkout when booking your class.
